I suppose I would call it a bit confused

A 5 MINUTE AUDIOWORK BASED ON INTERVIEWS ABOUT TIME AND FEAR (2019)

1. I suppose I would call it a bit confused. But I think it's also a generational thing.

I think every time is confused
in some kind of way.

I think I'm scared of...
Of forgetting.

I mean it's this timemachine, you know. It's so unnatural.

4. Vroeger ging dat veel anders.
It used to be very different.

1. I suppose I would call it a bit confused in some kind of way.

4. Dat je al de ellende van de wereld heel snel tegen komt,
terwijl je... Terwijl het voor jou niet van belang is, zeg maar.                       That you run into all the misery
of the world very quickly, while you...       While it doesn’t matter to you,
you know.

2. It really freaks me out.

1. Voices are coming out, that would have not been heard.

2. It's so unnatural.
It really freaks me out.

1. I suppose I would call it a bit confused in some kind of way.

3. Je leeft echt in een wereld van uitersten nu.
You currently live in a world
    of opposites.
         ︎︎︎

4. Vroeger ging dat veel anders.
It used to be very different.

but it's not all our fault.

5. I know, it is mostly our global problem.

2. It is, however way you look at it.
Maybe it's not the greatest thing our something.
But we're still living in like the best time to live on this planet.

1. I think I'm scared of...
Of forgetting.

5. I think there will be two futures one on Mars and one on Earth,
and both will be... Quite different.

2. It's so unnatural.                      ︎︎︎

1. I suppose I would call it a bit confused in some kind of way.

2. I'm always so freaked out by it of like..
Getting into this capsule and then finding yourself somewhere else all of a sudden. It's a very freaky feeling in my opinion.

And it's also something I'm like... You know... When I'm ordering tickets I'm like f*ck it, you know, how hard can this be. And then I end up on the plane, I'm like oh...
I don't actually like flying,
I remember now.

I mean it's this timemachine, you know. It's so unnatural.
Like I can be in Estonia in like what, two hours or something.
That's so weird. It really freaks me out of like oh my gosh.

5. So if something happens, the fear of what's gonna come after that.

4. De wereld wordt steeds kleiner, dus er zijn geen verassingen meer in de wereld.

The world is getting smaller      so there wont be anymore suprises
     in the world

2. It really freaks me out.

1. I suppose I would call it a bit confused.

I suppose I would call it a bit confused in some kind of way.

2. It really freaks me out.

Like... I think it's very easy to fall into this trap of comfort where there is none actually, you know.
